Ternyata Begini Rasanya: The Beginning

"TERNYATA BEGINI RASANYA..." 
(Translation: Surprisingly, it feels ...) 


 THE POP UP THOUGHT

 I was in the middle of flight going back home, that sentence just pop out when I remember that it's gonna bunch of laundry after travelling for few days, without any house assistance. At that time, inside from my heart said: OMG this is how it feels like when housewife came home after holiday, she needs to do the laundry before & after holiday FOR WHOLE PEOPLE AT HOME, can you imagine if she has three kids, a husband, & parents? At first maybe it's easy  because you only need to push the washing machine, but after that you need to iron it.  

 FYI, I used to live at boarding house that has facility of laundry, so I never think about how much clothes I need to wash, just put it on the basket & VOILA! All folded tidy by the next day. That's why, coming home with bunch of laundry makes me dizzy. 
THE STORY BEGAN

 I just move from Jakarta, where I have spent more than 10 years there, it's already became my 2nd hometown. I built my life & networking there. So, on the year 7th (around 2015), my parents asked me to go back to home, Semarang. I was idealist, I said I want to build my career in Jakarta. I was working at local advertising agency & have "extraordinary" working hours, maybe some of you familiar with it. Everyday I almost spent more than 10 hours at office, and that kind of thing sounds uncommon on my parents' mind. They were worried and 

 Long story short, I insisted working on Jakarta with that extraordinary working hours for almost 5 years. Until one day, when I had phoned with mom, I decided to give a resignation letter to the office & going back to hometown on my 29th birthday. 

 So, after spending time mostly all by myself, it's time for my ultimate support and so many things that I just realized how it feels living with them, again. 

I'd like to share all of the stories of mine which I'm gonna feel "Ternyata Begini Rasanya ..." & hopefully can benefit for you.

Today is Saturday. After going back from my grandma's house I feel so tired, then I take a nap on my bed. I guess it around 3.30pm, so I plan to wake up around 6pm then go to mom's shop. Yes I wake at 6pm, but so lazy to leave the bed, scroll my phone & not moving. The Routine  At 7pm, I am about to prepare to go, but apparently my brother already at the shop, so I decided to stay at home. Me & with my dad at home, hungry, then we order satay and eat together. FYI, me and dad have an awkward relationship actually (from my point of view). My dad had stroke & it makes him difficult to walk and have motion like sloth I would say, slow and sometimes careless. Ternyata Begini Rasanya: Seminggu di India Part 1

What's on your mind ketika denger kata India?  Bau? Jorok? Nari-nari? Eits, simpan dulu & let me share to you ;)  Di 2019, in a sudden I decided to go to India. Kebetulan banget pas abis resign, ada spare budget, dan partner yang mau diajakin ke India! This is the first time ke negara yang ngga familiar di telinga keluarga ataupun lingkungan sekitar. Setelah discuss sama partner travel, finally kita decide untuk seminggu di India dengan rute: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Mumbai. Di 3 kota pertama aku pilih untuk ikut open trip since newbie banget ya & di Mumbai kebetulan ada temen, so ya ga lost banget lah :) Okeh, jadi keberangkatan dari Jakarta naik Malindo Air dan transit di KLIA sekitar 2-4 jam kalau ga salah :) Muter-muter, makan, shopping dikit di KLIA dan terbanglah menuju ke Mumbai sekitar 3-4 jam sampai ke New Delhi.  Dari KL ke Delhi banyak banget penumpang orang India nya, so pertamanya emang ada feeling insecure ya honestly :) Tapi since kita mau p...

Ternyata Begini Rasanya: Pake Swallow Sehari-Hari

Jumat, 4 Oktober 2019  As you know, I was working at office previously, more than 10 hours and use sneakers most of the time. At boarding house, I didn't need to use sandals/any footwear, because it's just a 3x4 metres room and I only spent time mostly on my bed, so no need sandals right? :)  Setibanya di rumah, I spend half day at home & it's a non-formal work, jadi ngga necessary untuk pake sepatu. Orang rumah ada kebiasaan untuk pakai sandal di rumah, katanya sih biar ngga rematik, jadilah aku pake sandal. Since banyak aktivitas di rumah dan supaya gampang dibersihkan dan tahan lama, akhirnya jatuhlah pilihan ke sandal jepit instead of sandal hotel (biasanya sandal hotel ga tahan lama, ga tahan air ya :p).  Minggu-minggu awal di rumah, so far so good dengan si sandal jepit.
